HOT CACAO PROTEIN DRINK (Vegan + Gluten- Free)
HELLO my W O N D E R F U L loyal readers! I hope your New year was great- mine sure was. I ended up spending the whole holiday season with just my hubby - and it was GREAT! We relaxed and ate, played games and watched tons of movies. It was a BLAST!
So now I am embracing 2018!!! I am very happy to get back to the "basics" in a way. Do you know what I mean? I mean newly awakened sense of direction, purpose and drive (including those goals we had for 2017 that somehow fell of the bandwagon......anyone hear me on this one?!)
With that, I am sharing my newly created HOT CACAO HEMP protein drink! (It's like a healthy form of Hot Cocoa- and who doesn't love that?!)

HOT CACAO HEMP W/ CINNAMON PROTEIN DRINK
1-2 Pitted Dates (I prefer 1.5 dates)
3 TBS Raw Hemp Seeds
1 TBS CACAO Powder (feel free to also sub cocoa)
2 Tsp Coconut Butter/Manna or Oil
1 TBS Almond Butter
1/8 Tsp Cinnamon (ground)
16oz Boiling Hot Water
First, add 3 cups of water to a small pot to bring to a boil.
Second, add the dates, hemp seeds, cacao powder, coconut butter/oil, almond butter, and cinnamon into a high-powdered blender (such as a Vitamix).
Lastly, when the water is boiling, as you pour into the vitamix, pour until it hits the 16oz (2 cups) line. Blend on high for about 45 seconds. Pour out into a glass/thermas/big cup.
BE CAREFUL as it'll be very HOT. Enjoy!!!
